The Metric System
America should convert from the Imperial system of measurement to the Metric system. Freezing should be 0 degrees, not 32. Boiling should be 100 degrees, not 212. There are 1,000 meters in a kilometer. There are 5,280 feet in a mile. Which makes more sense? Let's align ourselves with the rest of the world to convey our interest in collaborating as part of an international order instead of continuing to arrogantly present ourselves as exceptions to rules and standards.
